Silvie Cecila Waals (Zomers) was a huge social butterfly, she could talk to everyone and anyone she met whether in PA in Media, hanging out in downtown Sarasota, at craft shows, spiritual retreats or out riding her Harley. Everyone knew her and gave her fond nicknames with her family, friends at Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi, her art students, and more. She sure has a presence and to this day stories and fond memories are regularly shared.

We would love to hear your stories and memories of your interactions with Silvie. How did you meet Sil, what impact did she have on your life......

This place is the passion project of Sil's Son, Johannes (Jan), her Daughter Suezette, and many Family, Friends, and Loved Ones who wish to honor and preserve the incredibly diverse legacy of such a uniquely vibrant soul. When Sil lost her 2nd battle with breast cancer in August 2021, Her son promised to preserve and share the beauty, pain, and love captured within her life's work with the world.

We hope this space resonates with you in a positive way.

Thank you

Any and all proceeds, profits, or donations will go toward the development of Sils Art Studio Gallery & Healing Foundation
