Sil was a master of all she tried. She dabbled in all types of mediums including but not limited to paper, paint, metal clay, felt, and glass often combining these mediums into mixed media pieces. She created endless works of art including paintings, photographs, collages, furniture, jewelry, books, dolls, mosaics and more. Many of these pieces span specific periods in her life that beautifully describe and express what she has experiences or was feeling. 

She was an avid learner and often took classes from famous and well-known artists learning their techniques, applying them to her work and adding her own creative flare to make it her own.
