Silvie Waals

Dec. 4 1962 - Aug. 18 2021

Starting with the assembling of a beautiful celebration of life, honoring her has shifted into the creation of this webspace. This place is now a passion project of Sil's Son, Johannes (Jan), her Daughter Suezette, and many Family, Friends, and Loved Ones who wish to honor and preserve the incredibly diverse legacy of such a uniquely vibrant soul. When Sil lost her 2nd battle with breast cancer in August 2021, Her children promised to preserve and share the beauty, pain, and love captured within her life's work with the world.

We hope this space resonates with

you in a positive way,

Sil's Art Studio

Sil's Art Studio Website is updated and run by Silvie's son,  Johannes Waals and his wife Meghan Waals. Johannes' goal is to get his mother's artwork and creative expression out into this world for everyone to see, the recognition she and her artwork deserved and his wife intends to help him achieve this in every way possible.

"We hope this website can be a forever tribute to the wonderful, creative, vibrant woman that Silvie Waals was. That her legacy will continue to live on for generations to come. To inspire future artists. And to become a place to come together and remember the fond memories we all hold dear of this beautiful woman."
   -Meghan Waals

Please note we are aware there are spelling and grammar mistakes as well as missing words. This is with purpose. This website is designed in Sil's voice. Many of the descriptions and text are her own words pulled from social media and other places to truly make this website her's. If you knew Sil she was dyslexic in Dutch and English but this all made up her unique phrases and entertaining sayings.
